For simplicity, you could go with the first 2 colored funds or add the 3rd for a 3-fund portfolio. Any/all of the others could be added if you choose, maybe later. This target fund is pretty expensive but Vanguard or Fidelity Index target funds would work in a Roth IRA. Total Stock market (or S&...

Run away from the fa before he gets any more of your money. If the money is for a down payment, it should be saved instead of invested. Although Mel loves midcap , that 1% er is sad. Consider dumping it altogether or use your ira for them. You could use 82% s&p and 18% small cap to approximate ...
