Re: Account security - Hackers gain access to mobile and then break havoc

Being hacked is a risk, and you need to have a sense of risk. I don't see any measurement of risk in this discussion. Is there someone who actually publishes fraud data updated periodically? Great question! What is the risk? This is pretty much the question I asked myself this morning - what is the...

There are many businesses who will send your code via SMS or email - your choice, but the organization has to offer it.

Best Practices - 2FA - SMS and Phone Type?

A couple of questions on security setups with respect to two factor authentication and SMS vs receiving codes via phone: 1) Even if you have to use SMS rather than Google Authenticator, Authy; key; or other methods, etc., IT IS BETTER to have 2FA, then not have it. Re: Am I getting good advice - replace the AC, not the 21 year old furnace

The cost for furnace and air together has to be quoted by a salesman, but the technician was saying a furnace would go for $6500 - $7000 or so if I remember correctly. And the two together would be around $7500 - $8000.

Added to original post.

Tire Puncture - plug from outside or patch and plug from inside

My automobile tire has a puncture between the tread probably 1/4" or less (screw).

My research tells me that it is better to patch and plug from the inside of the tire and that if done this way - the tire should live out its lifespan. No need for new tires.

What are your thoughts?
