33% tax bracket + 5.75% MD taxes. Which, given your illustration, further strengthens the case for the HSA.

This is an argument AGAINST bitcoin, because the vast majority of people (at least in the U.S.) do not have a complete lack of faith in the U.S. government or the banks, and money has not been devalued here (Inflation is low). I have a $2M term life policy. Updated my original post. Hadn't considered selling our rental property anytime soon.
