How long have you been in this field?

Are you not making enough money?

I strongly believe you can charge whatever you want as long as you get results. Word of mouth will keep you in business.

You can never go "home" - retirement

Like many people, I long for the city I grew up in. I have not lived there in over 30 years. I have friends that feel the same way and we do talk about buying homes in the area eventually. The climate I'm talking about is severe (on one of the Great Lakes). Lots of winter months. I would likely keep...

Does anyone have any experience with this Lutheran financial service? I am interested in any impressions or comments. A family member is considering moving from Edward Jones to Thrivent for personal investments and a holding spot for business accounts for an inactive business.

I too had a stressful career, and at your age seriously considered leaving for a new career. I stuck it out and was glad I did. As time went one, I found my career cycled out of that low point and found new high points.

I think to some degree it is the natural flow of things.

It's only $40,000.00. It may seem like a lot to you now, but later in life it won't. I'd hold on to it.

My most recent quotes had silver selling for spot. The ask (sell) & bid (buy) prices change almost daily. Don't be surprised if when you go back to sell, the price is different.

Put enough in your tsp to get the full government match. Put a healthy portion of your tsp in the c & s fund, a smaller portion total in f & g. Then enjoy that part of the world!

When you come home, you still have time to save and retire in comfort. Of this I am sure!
