Thank you for the replies. We are looking into an umbrella policy so glad to see we are thinking correctly. Sounds are like the three of you are recommending to give him the car. My father-in-law (Age 62) lives with us and drives our car. He has been on our insurance for 5 years as a secondary driver (~20% of the miles).
