Re: Free credit monitoring for AAA members

For us: free daily monitoring of Experian report (including email alerts of changes). Plus stuff like identity theft insurance, fraud resolution support and "lost wallet assist...

Re: Experian - credit freeze and credit card hacked

If there is a fraudulent charge on an existing credit card, your bank can/will handle it. The Attorney General is not going to care about a 87 cent issue, especially one that has existing procedures in place to fix it (issue you a new card, clear the fraudulent charge). Coincidence on the timing pe...

My response to the OP is that how much you spend in retirement depends a lot on what you spent (and how you spent it) before retirement. It also depends on your spouse if you have one, and his/her spending habits. It also depends on whether or not you're the kind of person who pays for your grandch...

I put $50,000 for the $500 bonus. It was represented to me as 90 days. Upon reading the fine print, it's 60 days after you meet the 90 day requirement, which makes it a lower interest rate. The $50k has to stay in for 60 days (recently went past that) and then you have to wait "up to 90 days&q...
