Re: Should I make changes to my portfolio ?

Hi BL Thanks for the information. The recommendation I`m given I believe I can implement myself. I`ve heard the fee is 3,300 per year. As you mentioned if it's the target funds there isn`t much maintenance required. I`ll see what happens tomorrow. Yes, the meeting is with the PAS. Thanks and Regards...

Re: Should I make changes to my portfolio ?

Hi I am going pay a 52k estate tax in June. I exchanged some high-risk funds to restructure the portfolio to target retirement. But should I keep a few more aggressive funds in an attempt to regain the loss of the estate tax? Once the loss is regained then totally modify the complete portfolio. Also...

Transferring money back to Vanguard

Hi I had a late RMD I needed to take for my father. The money was transferred to my bank account. I just sent a portion of the money back to Vanguard to reinvest. ETF verses Mutual Funds.

Hi

Would someone explain the difference between the two investment types? In my searching of our forum, it seems to
me most people have mutual funds instead of ETF`s. So there is a reason but what the answer is I have no idea.

Re: Should I make changes to my portfolio ?

Hi
I used the Vanguard planning tool and here is the recommendation. Could not place
the image inline. The web form complained it couldn`t determine the size of the image.
Do you think this is in the ballpark for an allocation?

Sounds like that lawyer isn't too knowledgeable about income tax details. A CPA most likely would be better at this.
