There was a technical error involved the database server, the message I saw indicated that disk space was full (more here ), so the forum software wasn't functioning. The fund of funds do not invest in the Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund, they use the Vanguard - Product overview - Tot Bond Mkt II Indx Inv Fund, which according to the latest report (semi-annual) has an 0.09% expense ratio for investor shares.
