I do not know if the colleague needs for home. The employer is talking about sending the employee to another country or to another state/city at the end of the project. All up in the air. But cost are starting to become worrisome.

No, the employer does not reimburse the car rental. The cost is on the colleague. The employer provides the car rental discount.

I do have a Roth IRA and a traditional IRA. I have not contributed for 2017.
If I understand correctly, I can NOT do a backdoor Roth IRA.
