Despite the challenges presented by Covid in early 2020, the new team quickly adapted to using online tools to keep our knowledge sharing community alive. By the fall of 2020 we began co-producing meetings with the Sacramento Chapter. Today, we hold monthly meetings with a combined average of 60 people, mostly from the USA, but occasionally with members from other countries.
Our monthly meetings cover a range of financial topics that support the Bogleheads’ “Ten Principles of Investing”. We feature guest speakers or engage members in discussions on interesting topics. Our goal is to provide valuable insights and learning opportunities to all members. We never sell anything, and all our events are free.
Currently, all chapter meetings are held virtually, but as Covid subsides, we plan to organize social events at venues or parks in specific towns.
