The DC Bogleheads, with 300 registered members, are one of the longest continuous local chapters in the bogleheads community. Formed in 2005, the group usually meets six times a year, meeting in the odd numbered months. Meetings are regularly convened on Sunday afternoons, usually beginning at 3:00pm and ending at 5:00pm.
Meeting venues
The Washington DC Bogleheads meetings have been held at the Washington Plaza Hotel restaurant, and more recently at the Arlington and Silver Springs libraries.
Diehards VI national conference
The Chapter helped organize and host the sixth annual Bogleheads conference, successfully held in Alexandria, Virginia on June 10-12, 2007. Twenty three chapter volunteers contributed to making the event possible.
