The Birmingham Bogleheads® local chapter was founded on September 15, 2007. The chapter was inactive, but was reactivated on July 8, 2019. The chapter is designed to serve the Birmingham metropolitan area.

Meetings are held at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover.
