The Atlanta Metro Bogleheads® local chapter was formed on February 26, 2016. The initial meeting took place on September 10, 2016. Subsequent meetings are listed below:

Meeting venues
The initial meetings of the chapter have been held at a private residence. The 2018 meeting was held at 4 Rivers Smokehouse in Atlanta.
Historical meetings
The chapter serves to restore area meetings to the Atlanta area since the closing of the North Atlanta Bogleheads® chapter in September 2008. This chapter held meetings in 2007 and 2008.
