This is a great resource Ken. I would suggest that we compartmentalize a series of such pages to make them more easily accessible. For example we could have pages dedicated to the following asset groupings:

  • Taxable Bonds
  • Municipal Bonds
  • International Stock Indexes
  • US Stock Indexes (style box) perhaps adding the REIT index here
  • [Optional] US Specialty Indexes (social and dividend indexes)
  • [Optional] US Sector Indexes
  • [Optional] Balanced Target Retirement and Life Cycle Funds

I would include the tax-managed funds in the proper asset categories.

We would provide links to the other pages in this series in each page. Blbarnitz

Barry, that's an excellent suggestion. So far, I've been working only on taxable bonds, and the article isn't short! I'm going to have to think a while about the proper implementation of your idea. Ken Schwartz 18:51, 24 May 2008 (EDT)
