Content from Category talk:Meet the Bogleheads published authors in finance

Might the name "Bogleheads Authors" be more professional sounding for this category? Sometimes a good forum conversation title doesn't translate well to a wiki category name. Ken Schwartz 18:00, 9 June 2008 (EDT)

As to the retitling, that is fine. However, other issues are involved with these pages which may result in our having to delete them. First, all four of the pages where written by the authors for the forum, which operates under a different "copyright" regime than does the wiki. I am in the process of asking the authors if they approve copying their posts to the wiki (one page has already been edited for the removal of original links. As an aside, this list, as well as the Academics list, are the most natural of the Reference Library pages to be wikified.)
Secondly, the forum Reference page was designed with strict entry conditions for inclusion; vanity publications (one such was submitted) and a memory of the one produced by Rob Bennett(Hocus) were the predicates for such strictures.Blbarnitz 20:52, 9 June 2008 (EDT)

Retitling & Approvals

The retitling is complete. I strongly suspect you'll get the authors' approvals. Ken Schwartz 21:26, 9 June 2008 (EDT)
