|
|
Hello everyone. I need an assist here. Do any of you, know of a place that has a calculator that has seperate entries, for a couple retiring at different times?
I'm trying to enter figures of income and Social Security for myself and then my wifes Social Security 5 years later. I'm trying to see what amount of funds, are needed now, in order to last as needed. So far I've failed to find one with enough seperate entries to get an accurate number.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Regards, Jean

I'm fairly sure FIREcalc will allow you to model your scenario if you use the multiple income streams options. They were intended to incorporate withdrawal reductions when SS & pensions begin, but I believe you could use them to model withdrawal increases as each of you retire.

Thanks CB. I see the advanced section now. I'll have a look. Want to do some of the old "what if " stuff.
