What step is that? I have over 12,000 posts, and not one has ever been approved. Quite a few have been disapproved, and some have even been deleted completely, sometime alone or sometimes as part of whole threads, but I don't ever remember an "approval step." Do you have a reference in forum policy or FAQ? Perhaps first time posters are reviewed to avoid spam, but I am under the impression that that comes later. Your member status must be approved, but if you weren't a member, you wouldn't have been able to compose your post in the first place.

No, once I made the post (that was after my account was approved), it said an admin will be approving it. I think that's to stop spammers when a new member makes a post.
