The winter meeting of the Philly chapter is set for January 22nd! Bring your questions and opinions on investing so we can have our usual lively discussion over brunch. And feel free to invite friends!

Does Mr. Bogle attend your Philly Chapter meetings?

I wish!

Actually Mr Bogle has not attended our meetings, but our chapter was lucky enough to be invited to a presentation he recently gave at Temple University in Philadelphia. After the talk he had a book signing and spoke with many of our chapter members.

In addition, the Bogleheads reunion was held in Philly this year and so there was an opportunity to meet him there. At that reunion we also got to meet many of the nationally renowned Boglehead authors as well.

Mr Bogle should know that he would always be cordially invited to attend any of our chapter meetings.

Last Saturday's meeting went pretty well. All the topics seemed to get covered and most of us were able to get some time to talk. During the last half hour of the meeting, it started to get noisy in the restaurant as other tables around us started to fill up. Aside from that, people seem happy with the location.

Linuxizer has offered to demo his new bond software to the group at our next meeting. Something to look forward to!
