Yes, Ironically I tried to have a meeting a few months ago in Wausau. We've had them in Manitowoc, Appleton, Milwaukee and Green Bay. What day/times work for you in the Wausau area? We also have some Bogleheads in that area as well!

Warm Regards, Eric

I grew up in Wausau. I am currently in Eau Claire. I work some strange hours but would try to go if I could. Wausau works for me.

I'm in Milwaukee and would consider attending. Given everyone's replies it sounds like the dells would be the most central spot.

I'm also in Madison, but I'd be willing to travel to the Dells (to other Madisonites, we could carpool if you like). Just to throw it out there, how's the weekend of the 4th and 5th sound to everyone?

Madison here, willing to drive an hour or so.

I'm a young-in new to investing so I'm not sure how much I would be able to add...probably just soak in knowledge from others. :)

Should we set a date? It sounds like we'd get about 15-20 people depending on the scheduling

Where is everyone from? I have locations in the Marshfield, Madison and Milwaukee areas. I'm willing to meet anywhere besides the N.E part of the state (i.e., Eau Claire).

Hello Bogleheads,

We've had people met from all areas in Wisconsin. I've held meetings in each area of Wisconsin (North vs. south).

As I set a date, I'm thinking of the outskirts of the Milwaukee area (Waukesha) as we've done once before.

There is a Machine Shed family restaurant at Hwy 164 & I-94 there on the north side of the interstate.

For those that would attend? How does a Saturday afternoon in April sound?

Regards,

Eric

I know where the machine shed is and have eaten there several times. Depending on the date, I will try to make it. Thanks.

Cannot make this meeting....turns out planning a wedding and buying a home are very time consuming. If the meeting was closer to Madison I'd have a better shot of attending, but I'll likely not be able to make a meeting this summer. Best of luck and I look forward to hearing about the success of this gathering :)

Just joined the message boards. There's two of us in Oshkosh, and my brother in Madison that may be interested in meeting if anyone is still actively meeting.

Folks who are interested in the Wisconsin Chapter meetings can contact Eric (See Chapter #2 on this Map for his e-mail):

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8& ... 214844&z=4

If Eric is no longer interested in being the Local Chapter coordinator, then perhaps one of you can step forward and arrange for a meeting. Just let me know what's what.

I live a bit north of Green Bay. I would be interested in a meeting. I don't know what all goes into organizing a meeting, but if Eric is no longer with us, I would consider organizing something. If we could gather at least as far north as Oshkosh, I could make it down to there.
