You should have let people vote more than once. Why? Well, since I'm a Boglehead, my immediate family by virtue of their relationship with me are Bogleheads (whether they realize it or not)

OK, I could have said "Boglehead forum participant/poster/reader", but I was trying not to be circuitous, long-winded, prolix, rambling, verbose, windy, wordy . . .

whaleknives,
Have you seen the Bogleheads net worth spreadsheet?
Your questions on Bogleheads demographics are answered there (and much more, although you may need to do your own analytics on the raw data).

Have seen this and find it somewhat difficult to believe that it's representative of the BH population. Wondering how many of the less affluent failed to provide info :confused

No, I hadn't come across it - an amazing collection of data! And a recent snapshot, with the oldest entry from Jan 2012. Thank you.

But with 664 entries, I think I'll wait for the poll votes. (A more definitive and all encompassing meta-analysis to follow.)

And all this time I thought I was the only boglehead under 30! Seemed like everyone was either a new doctor or retired.

I didn't expect to be in the largest group -- guess I'm getting older. ;)
My Plan: * Age-10 in bonds until I reach age 60, 50/50 thereafter. * Equity split: 50/50 US/Int'l, Bond split: 50/50 TBM/TIPS. * Everything over 2 months' expenses gets invested.
