DC Bogleheads next meeting is January 27

Postby bobcat2 » Fri Jan 11, 2013 7:11 pm

Hi all,

The next DC Bogleheads meeting is January 27.

There seems to be some confusion on when the next DC Bogleheads meeting will be. Usually we meet the third Sunday of every other month. That would make our January meeting on the 20th. But that day conflicts with Inauguration Day ceremonies this year in downtown Washington. Therefore this month we will be meeting on Sunday, January 27.

Some people have posted on the local DC Diehards board that they think we will be meeting this coming Sunday, January 13. :? That is incorrect. Don't go this Sunday or you may end up dining alone.

Best,
BobK

Considering that we have many Federal employees in this area, it would be interesting to discuss various options related to the sequestration, e.g., likely scenarios, personal contingency planning, etc. However, other attendees would be bored.

Hi Victoria,
