SE FLORIDA 2nd meeting - December 9, 2012

We are planning our meeting for Sunday, December 9, 2012, in the afternoon. It'll be at an executive office center in west Boca Raton (easy access from both the Turnpike and I-95), and we have reserved a conference room which seats 14 people, but I'm sure we can squeeze in a few extra chairs if necessary.

So far, if I have kept track correctly, we have 7 people who have expressed an interest (Taylor & Pat Larimore, me, kevqno, 1530jesup, DWD and JM13004). If you are interested and haven't already signed up, please PM me or post on this thread. I will PM or email the exact location to everyone that signs up.

kevqno - please can you confirm the time that the room is reserved for. And, are we allowed to bring sandwich/snack type food?

Everyone - start thinking of an investing question to ask the group. Also, if you've recently read a good investing book (or done a good iTunes U course, or any other variant) and want to recommend it, maybe that is something that we can talk about too.

I have the room reserved from 2-5 pm. We can bring in snacks. There is a small kitchen across the hall from the conference room with a microwave and a refrigerator.

I wish I knew. There has not been a meeting (that I am aware of) in quite awhile. Hope they have some again in the future.
Last I met with Ave he was biking up a storm and was quite OK.

OK, we're up to 11 people. 3 more seats available, although I'm assuming we could always squeeze an extra chair in here or there if we need to.



Another suggested topic to discuss is hints and tips/orientation to using the web site such how to find old posts or bookmark a post.

Also, it has been suggested that we incorporate a meal - either meeting for lunch beforehand, or dinner afterwards. I don't think I'll be able to make it for food, but if anyone else wants to meet up for a meal, we should work something out.
