Last time the attacker struck I used 1Password to generate a random 25 character password. That should occupy a bit of time to crack. What a jerk he is. :annoyed

You can preach all you want here and tell people to use strong passwords but unfortunately, the hijackings are occurring with folks with the weak passwords who are infrequent posters -and are not reading our advice/pleas.

I use LastPass and am extremely happy with it. I can't believe I ever lived without it.

What a horrible way to start Valentine's Day for our forum admins. Something about this day seems to bring out both the lovers and the haters. I'd send some electronic chocolate to the forum admins if there were such an emoticon, but there isn't, so imagine this emoticon is a cup of cocoa to soothe another forum headache caused by this spammer: :beer

Old joke:
Use "invalid" as your password. That way, when you misstype it, you will be prompted: "Your password is invalid"

Just another reason to always change passwords frequently, no matter the account.

I think strong passwords are more important than frequently changing them. Frequently changing multiple passwords usually leads people to keep the latest and greatest as a post-it note on their desk.
