Use the IMG_resize button, 2nd one from the right at the top of the edit box. I set the width to 40%. Quote my post to see how it's done.

Update: Image resize fix, post updated to %.

Is that 400 the number of pixels or the % difference? [See post below. --admin LadyGeek]

So, if I set image size to 200 (I did), shouldn't the same image be half the original width, either shrunk in size or truncated? It does not appear to be so.

It should be height in % (not pixels) but it's not working for me, either. What you're probably seeing is the forum software's best guess on how to scale the image to fit within the post. I'll take a look.

I looked, it's fixed. Thanks for the help.

Sorry, but I had to modify a few posts. Otherwise, we'd now be seeing images at 400% (I entered comments on what I did).

I think my question is this:

Are not domestic Large Value stocks safer than Large Blends or Large Growths?

The common notion is that the value premium exists at the cost of increased volatility (sigma or Std deviation.) While likely true for mids and smalls, is this true to the same extent for the very largest stocks?

A subquestion: To the extent that this is true, as one approaches retirement, should there be a tilt toward Large Value stocks?

TIA for any comments.

If you right-click on the image, a direct link will come up. Then, enclose it with the Img tags (Img button):

Code: Select all
[img]http://imageshack.us/a/img822/2574/ramgrid.gif[/img]

Will produce:

The is a test post for the purpose of demonstrating the features of the new board.

1. Including a link is easy. No more entering html code. Just paste the link url. That's it! For example, here's a link to Vanguard home page:

http://www.vanguard.com

2. Formatting text is easy. Just highlight a block of text, hit the 'B' button for bold, 'i' for italics, 'u' for underline. For example:

FYI - The image resizing feature has been removed. Images up to 1200 x 1200 pixels are permitted (an increase over the old limit of 900 pixels). See this post: Re: "Your images may only be up to 900 pixels wide."

Update: The resize image option is back, but will only display at full size. The intent is to avoid breaking posts which used the [img_resize=xx][/img_resize] feature. If anyone has a problem with an image, use the report post "!" in the top right corner and we'll take a look at it.
