I've done some consulting work in New Jersey each of the past two years and will be filing a non-resident NJ tax return again in 2014. Looking over my last 2014 paystub, all the numbers make sense (Fed tax withheld, NJ tax, FICA,...) except $77.55 in a box labeled "other tax".
Looking at my 2013 paystub the corresponding number was $19.38, and on the W-2, it appeared in Box 14, broken down into
$3.69 FLI
$14.77 HCS
$0.92 WFD
Some googling turned up this document:

Do New Jersey Bogleheads deduct these taxes on their Federal Schedule A?
"Other tax" on my NJ paystub
Re: "Other tax" on my NJ paystub
In general these are deductible state taxes. See the 1040 instructions.

Re: "Other tax" on my NJ paystub
Here is some useful info:
FLI --- Family Leave Insurance
HCS --- Health Care Subsidy (part of Disability)
WFD - Work Force Development (part of SUI)
I haven't lived there is awhile, but the taxes are deductible on your 1040.
