We are only looking in an area of 2 or 3 miles due to a number of reasons, schools, work commute, family etc.
We have being looking at homes that come up in the last couple weeks and have a couple we want to look at.
My question is whether we need a realtor or not. We know the area well as we live there now and I have lived here for 15 years. We are just up-grading.
Thanks in advance.

I highly, highly recommend you consult an attorney from the beginning. Just because this person got away with only using an attorney for closing and not the initial contract doesn't mean you'll be so lucky.
