Closing time for NYSE on Dec 31?

I looked up the NYSE closing but it was not very definitive. The VG site did not mention an early close.

The NYSE is operated by NYSE Euronext (NYSE: NYX), which was formed by the NYSE's 2007 merger with the fully electronic stock exchange Euronext.

So I went to the Euronext website

and clicked on holidays and hours then more

I don't see an early close for December 31.

So the market will close at the same time as it closed on Monday, June 18, 2012? It is interesting that one has to put 2 and 2 together or 2 and 3 even in the face of some cognitive dissonance or whatever they are calling it nowadays.

The stock market is not open on January 1, just in case somebody asks.
