Bogleheads favorite Task management App?

Thanks

Re: Bogleheads favorite Task management App?
I use sticky notes, both electronic and paper.
I also list things on the MyYahoo ToDo App.
I also send emails to myself.
Sometimes I write notes on scraps of paper and clip them to my work badge or put the note in my pocket or in my wallet.
I don't carry any electronics with me except my $15 Casio watch, so I mainly rely on paper.

I use Microsoft Outlook tasks for task management.
www.rememberthemilk.com for TODO lists that can email you reminders each day as well as when the reminder is due (such as a plumber appointment at 10 am). I use the free version as it offers everything I need.

Google calendar. By far and away the #1 cloud thing I use.

Check out this free system that I found in the Washington Post. www.workflowy.com . I've used it for several months and like it a lot.

+1 Wunderlist
I have used a variety of cloud based task managements tools (some which went belly up). Wunderlist is great and the free version meets my needs very well. There are IOS and Android Apps. There are browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, but I just use the web interface via a bookmark (rather than using the extension). Some features, like moving tasks from one list to another may be easier with the web interface rather than the app.

I'm a big fan of Asana.com. Very good. I use it every day for both work and personal tasks.
They also have a good mobile app.

I use Active Desktop Calendar by Xemico. I've used it for the better part of a decade and update free from time to time. It now synchs with Outlook and others .... best piece of software for use with Microsoft systems I have ever seen. Custom calendar functions, notes, reminders, alarms.. a WINNER!

I use Tick Tick. They have an Android app (with a great scrollable list widget) and a Google Chrome extension, so I have everything synced using my Google account. http://ticktick.com/

I have been using a MS Word file for my task management for so long that I am reluctant to transition to anything else. And here lies the key question with all technology: To move or not to move?

Microsoft Outlook, together with McGhee Productivity Solutions "Take Back Your Life" productivity system -- highly recommended.

I have decided with many trials and errors on new ways that if I have something that works I will not change. Too much time trying to learn something that doesn't help or only marginally helps. It's not worth the time to me. I'll stay with what works.VictoriaF wrote:I have been using a MS Word file for my task management for so long that I am reluctant to transition to anything else.
