Could you put a quick title in each post? It would be helpful, as I don't have to click on each link to see if it's of interest.

Here's the first one: 81 Overlooked and Undervalued Ways to Save Money: Terrific Tips for Adults and Kids [Kindle Edition]

The second one, which might be interesting for taching kids: Little Kids Big Money: Tools for Teaching Kid Friendly Finance [Kindle Edition]

The third one: What Is Philosophy: An Introduction For The Layperson [Kindle Edition]

Perhaps there's a way to set Amazon.com's search engine for "free Kindle (0.00 price) and investing / finance subjects."

I'm just trying to make things easy from the reader's perspective. Copy-n-paste the link, then copy-n-paste the title?

I'm using a Firefox's Make Link add-on to do this quickly. (A few seconds...)

(I fixed the title to "Free books.")

The entire 40,000-odd Project Gutenberg corpus is free, most titles downloaded in half-a-dozen formats from Project Gutenberg's website. For Kindle owners, it appears that Amazon has made the entire corpus directly downloadable via the Amazon Kindle Store.

The founder of Project Gutenberg, the late Michael Hart, was a true visionary with interesting opinions. I exchanged emails with him once or twice and among other things, he had the facility for composing right-justified ASCII emails. I don't mean that he inserted extra spaces, I mean that he simply selected his words and phrases so that every line had the same number of characters in it without extra spaces. An interesting talent.

See also the very useful UPenn online books page for free eTexts from other places besides Project Gutenberg.

And I would call special attention to the interesting and well-curated collection, A Celebration of Women Writers

Here is a link to a site (Book Bub) that will send you a daily email with free and/or very low cost offers in the categories you choose. We use it for Kindle but it also does Nook, Ipad, etc., etc.

We have used it for the last few months. We have received no spam or any unwanted emails from them.

At the bottom of each email is a way to change which categories you are interested in as well as a way to unsubscribe.

I am not affiliated with this site except as a satisfied user.

I hope some of you find this to be a useful resource:

Robert Mercer (Author)
Be the first to review this item
Digital List Price: $3.95 What's this?
Kindle Price: $0.00 includes free wireless delivery via Amazon Whispernet

Book Description
Publication Date: May 9, 2013
This book is a unique collection of 50 short biographical sketches, ‘biography bites’, packed full of information about some of the most interesting and noteworthy people of our past, from its early beginnings to the present era.

Biography bites, one-hundred-word ‘shorts’ that profile the lives of notable people, are served here to entice your intellectual appetite. Each bite, within its precise complement of one hundred words, contains an unusual ingredient, a revealing element about an individual or just a thought from the author for you to contemplate. You might find, in one or more of these profiles, a particular flavour especially suited to your taste buds, which may interest you to read and study more about that individual. They provide a quick and easy biographical reference about someone who factored strongly in the betterment or decline of our humanity. Here is one example showing the format and content of a 'biography bite', as defined and used by the author in this first collection:

NEIL ARMSTRONG (1930 to 2012)
Before joining the astronaut program at NASA, Armstrong was already an accomplished aviator, having flown seventy-eight combat missions during the Korean War. He piloted 200+ models of aircraft before commanding the Gemini VIII space mission in 1966. From there, he was sky-rocketed into the pages of history as commander of Apollo 11, the first manned mission to the moon. He made those first indelible footprints on its uninhabited/barren surface, dispelling forever any notion that the moon was made of cheese, green or otherwise, while proving, beyond doubt, the existence of moon dust, although not the magical variety of fairy tales.
