New gold-colored watch for friend [digital]

Postby Jerilynn » Fri Feb 01, 2013 12:08 pm

I want to get my new billionaire boyfriend a great looking gold-colored watch for his birthday. It ***MUST*** be digital. If so, what brand of kewl watch would yall recommend that meets these criteria?

Thanks.

[edited to change from Rolex to 'watch'.]

They are mutually exclusive. A fully gold (color) Rolex is a Presidential series opening in the $20K range and going up from there on dial and bezel selection. If digital is the order of the day it leaves Rolex, Patek and all other such brands where pride in their movement is involved out.

From a practical standpoint, mutually exclusive appears to be the proper answer, however I was intrigued to read that Rolex did dabble in LED's:

Unfortunately it appears none available now.

There have been such things as mechanical digital watches. They used dials instead of hands, and the numbers appeared in a little "window". I have no idea if Rolex ever made such a product.

Thanks, midareff. That's what I was thinking.

Ok, any other brand that looks great that makes a digital watch that is 'gold color'?

Google "digital watch gold" came up with this amazon link that shows lots of watches:
