I think JetBlue has a special from Seattle going right now. They only fly up in the summer.

Alaska Airlines is the "de facto" carrier and will get you anywhere you need to go in-state. They are based out of Seattle, but now fly almost everywhere in the U.S. -- even to Hawaii. They also have the best on-time record and understand what flying in Alaska is all about; I'm not sure you'll get as good an experience with a company based in the lower 48.

hipmunk.com is a new travel website - I like it - they have a feature that alerts you if a specific itinerary flight price changes like travelocity used to do.
I always use such sites to find the fare then book it directly with the airline since itinerary changes work better that way.

The last two posts are good advice. farecompare.com is another fare tracking site. Also check out matrix.itasoftware.com.

Hmmm...so, Seattle's not in the lower 48?
