Hi all,
Looking for some comparison advice on bond funds. Is Fidelity's US Bond index fund just as diversified as Vanguards Total bond market?
In my 401, Fidelity expense ratio is .07% so I was thinking about using that bond fund instead of vanguards total bond market fund

That's what I would do if I had FXSTX, but instead I use FSITX.

Yes use FXSTX-

Yes. One way to check this yourself is to use the "Growth of" chart at morningstar.com

Looking at the Fidelity and Vanguard websites, they both track Barclays US Aggregate Bond indexes. Vanguard tracks the Float-Adjusted version of the index. I do not see mention ofgenjix wrote:Thanks. But beside ER di they pretty much follow the same index?
