I own both Vanguard Dividend Growth Fund and Vanguard High Dividend Yield. Perfomance really seems to be very in line with each other. I am trying to understand the differences. Any thoughts?

Dividend Growth is actively managed and classified as large blend. High Dividend Yield is an index fund and is classified as large value. I myself own Dividend Appreciation which is similar to Dividend Growth only an index fund. In my opinion, all three are decent although rather defensive funds.
