I must have made 30 or so ETF transactions over the last year and today was the first time it showed up.
SEC fees I'm familiar with only affect sellers.
That must be it, thanks. Today(yesterday) was the first time I sold ETF shares.

Securities transaction fee

When I made my last ETF trade with Vanguard, there was a $0.04 "securities transaction fee".

Where does this come from and more importantly, how do I record the transaction in Quicken?

I was thinking that if I put the 4 cents in the commission block, it would all work out.

Thanks in advance.

anti-virus/anti-spyware

What is the current software du jour for antivirus and antispyware.

I've been using PCTools anti-virus/spyware and it's expiring. What do you all use?

Everything else is cash or CC which is paid off each month.
I'm not sure how wise it would be to get an investment property loan nowadays.

Many times you have a choice of either very low interest rates OR cash back. It's normally better to take the cash back option and not finance the vehicle.

I personally don't. You certainly can't invest the money and make the same % as a car loan.

I've paid cash for my last several cars.

If I need to buy major household appliances or something like that, I just pay cash.
