That must be it, thanks. Today(yesterday) was the first time I sold ETF shares.ftobin wrote:SEC fees I'm familiar with only affect sellers.Jerilynn wrote:What determines if there is a security transaction fee?
I must have made 30 or so ETF transactions over the last year and today was the first time it showed up.

Securities transaction fee
When I made my last ETF trade with Vanguard, there was a $0.04 "securities transaction fee".
Where does this come from and more importantly, how do I record the transaction in Quicken?
I was thinking that if I put the 4 cents in the commission block, it would all work out.
Thanks in advance.

anti-virus/anti-spyware
What is the current software du jour for antivirus and antispyware.
I've been using PCTools anti-virus/spyware and it's expiring. What do you all use?

I personally don't. You certainly can't invest the money and make the same % as a car loan.snyder66 wrote:I guess what I meant is, Do you take out loans for anything? Cars, etc.
I've paid cash for my last several cars.
If I need to buy major household appliances or something like that, I just pay cash.
