The M* definition is that every market is split 70/20/10 (actually 40/30/20/7/3 since M* uses five cap ranges).

| I also vote for a target retirement fund. I think a portfolio needs more than 10% bonds myself. I'd suggest the fund which has something close to 15% or 20% bonds as a good starting place. |
