For equities I prefer broad indexes and the simplicity. Fixed income I buy the individual funds, not the total bond market.

Paid professional, as my tax situation is complicated because I own an LLC, and I don't have the interest or inclination to learn the tax code myself. I have no problem paying an accountant.
