Easy... pick out a wallet from http://www.bigskinny.net. It sounds to me you would like http://www.bigskinny.net/multi-pocket.html.
For years I had a thick, heavy leather wallet that was about as thick as two decks of cards. I made the switch to Big Skinny and now can barely tell I have a wallet in my pocket. Granted, it helped that I stopped carrying a few cards. However, my Big Skinny full is more slim than my empty leather wallet! If still want a leather wallet, you can get the best of both worlds: leather outside, and skinny inside.

Re: Book recommendation for 18 year old
Perhaps a little "outside the box" as to a book on investing, but what about Dave Ramsey's book, The Total Money Makeover? The reasons I suggest it are:
1) Easy and fast read
2) Some good financial advice, especially about the consequences of debt
3) His "baby steps" are practical and achievable, especially for a young person without a lot of debt
My thought is that if one were to read and apply Dave's strategies for general finances, they would already be a world ahead of most people when they started looking at investing (and they may have put themselves in a financial position to be able to invest!).

Just joined the message boards. There's two of us in Oshkosh, and my brother in Madison that may be interested in meeting if anyone is still actively meeting.

Re: What Book Are You Currently Reading? Part V
This is my first day of posting, so I apologize if this has been covered, but I find that http://www.goodreads.com is a great site to track 1) what you are currently reading 2) what you've already read 3) what you would like to read and 4) compare your lists to what your friends are reading. I just finished: The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing by Larimore, LeBoeuf, and Lindauer Clockwork Prince (Infernal Devices series book #2) by Cassandra Claire And am currently reading: City of Bones (Mortal Instruments series book #1) by Cassandra Claire Three to Get Deadly (Stephanie Plum series book #3) by Janet Evanovich And can't wait to read: Red, White, and Blood (Nathaniel Cade series book #3) by Christopher Farnsworth Insurgent by Veronica Roth

Re: boglehead t-shirts?
I think adding the site URL to the back of the shirt would be a good idea too.

Re: How are hybrid cars in the snow?
I own a 2007 Prius and live in Wisconsin. It gets worse gas mileage in the winter, but I have had terrific luck with traction in the snow with the normal tires. In fact, I find that I can drive through slippery and icy intersections when other vehicles are spinning their wheels. I love my Prius and would purchase another without hesitation.
