Does Vinegar kill weeds?

I am done polluting my soil with Roundup. Has anyone had any experience with some sort of vinegar concoction? I already pulled them out once this year, they need to go.

Re: Is gas mileage alone worth getting a different car?

More excellent points. I would eventually like to get a greener, more fuel efficient vehicle anyway. While, we do have 3 kids, we rarely need a minivan to haul them around. The only time we truly need it is for vacation. That's a stupid reason to keep a larger car.

Is gas mileage alone worth getting a different car?

I know this subject has been beaten to death. But, I am just wondering if anyone on this board has traded in for a better gas mileage vehicle? If so, How much savings, per gallon, was it to you?

The problem is, you made this request at Buca di Beppo, or whatever it's called. This is a franchise staffed by low paid employees. You just can't expect a whole lot when you dine at these places. They are reasonable for a reason.

Re: Gardening, the new year

Does anyone here have raised beds? I have one, but I would like to expand my garden this year. I was told it is better to plot out smaller areas, so I'm not walking all over the ground and compacting. I'm guess you could also separate with stepping stones or something else.

I think a lot depends on you and your children. If you have bright children, they will do fine in an "average" school district. By the way, Who is the one judging this average-ness anyway? I personally think it is a bit overrated and hyper=parenting to a point.
