TSP Bond Funds: G fund vs. F Fund

I am trying to decide whether to put about half of my bond allocation in the F fund or G fund. The descriptions of the funds are below. Re: MSN Stock Quotes is not working.

Some stocks always update normally.
Others intermittantly work. Sometimes any of the following: US, USA and NYSE work sometimes none of these work.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason to this!

I changed US to USA and it worked for some quotes and later stopped working.
I also changed the non-working quotes to NYSE and that worked also but with some quotes later stopped working.
Same behavior on two computers.
Is MSNSQ.EXE working properly for anyone over time? I get it to work temporarily.

Re: Premium Products That Are Worth It To You

Some of the debates may center around cost per use.
I have worn my expensive Icebreaker sweaters so many times that the cost per use is very low.
We have paid close to top dollar for our contractor but the quality over the year has made the long term cost low.

I stopped the WSJ because over the past few years the quality has gone down. There are fewer of the in depth articles that used to make this paper so great. While I miss what the WSJ used to be, I dont miss what I let expire six months ago.

Vanguard Mutual Fund Trade Time Cutoff

I placed a trade shortly before closing and later found out I got the price of the next day. It turns out Vanguard is the only company (known to my Schwab representative) that cuts the trading time at 2P EST instead of closing. Why does Vanguard do this? As we know, much can happen in the last hour.

Hello Bogleheads, I am looking to purchase a pontoon boat to use on a lake with a no significant wake law. It will probably be a 24 footer that will hold 14 people. Which Money Market or other Fixed-income Fund to Choose?

I keep 5% of our net worth in Money Market Funds and in the past Tax Exempt Money Market funds have made sense. With these funds yielding less than 0.2% where are you putting your cash these days?
