My thought is that if I were to invest in the sector ETFs and avoid the financials and consumer discretionary, I should be ok... Since I am in a similar situation, let me ask you this. Has anyone considered sector specific investing excluding financials and consumer discretionary? That generally eliminates nearly all of the companies that would be forbidden. Granted that nearly all companies have some degree of debt... but no...
