Folio Investing article in Kiplinger's

Where to put 800K that's 100% safe for 6 mos?

I have to make a payment of around 800K in 6 months. I have the cash now and would like to earn a few bucks in the meantime. Any suggestions where to invest it that's 100% safe except for a t-bill?

I'm a 72 year old retiree with 70% in bonds: VG Total Bond Mkt (42%), TIPS Fund (14%) and High Yield Corp Fund (14%) and 30% in various VG stock funds. All are in a taxable account. Sell Health Care Fund VGHCX?

Hi,

I've had this sector fund in my IRA for eons. Perhaps it's time to look elsewhere. I also have TSM, TBM & TISM index funds so am covered there. Any suggestions for selling VGHCX and for a replacement?

Emerging Markets Stock Index

I presently have Total Int'l Stock Index and am considering adding the Emerging Markets Stock Index. Does this appear to be a wise addition and, considering its dramatic recent returns, is this timely?
