Every time I have told the dealer that I would entertain financing if there was a rebate attached they declined, both personal and business. They also knew it would be paid off or refinanced immediately.

I have a Dell laptop that supposedly worked with 802.11n but it was a early version and didn't, confirmed through Internet research. I bought a replacement internal Wi-Fi card on eBay for less than $20 shipped, problem solved.

Don't gamble with money you are not willing to lose. I have a very small portion of my portfolio I use to buy individual stocks. They are historically safe stocks but have more potential for variability than index funds.

My theory is that if you are not maxing 401k and Roth you cannot afford it. If you are doing that and have a year emergency fund then enjoy it. I have goals of early retirement so I save beyond that.
