The problem with putting money in another country is you are subject to changes in the exchange rate between that currency and US dollars. If the rate in the other country is 10%, but the value of that currency compared to the US dollar drops 10%, you have earned nothing. I would not recommend putt...

Is it good to put money in 401K or fixed deposit in different country with 10% interest rates? I cant imagine 401K is better!!!

I know that 401K deferred taxes. When we retire how much tax do we have to pay?
Plus I have heard other things like instead of investing in 401K some pay off home loans since we may get only 3% returns on 401K versus 7 percent home mortgage loan rate. Is this true?
