is it collecting dust in a savings account, some of them may pay 0.75%, put your 6 mo of emergency money there, keep 20% for your 30 year fixed on top of that, unless you want a smaller mortgage, figure out your risk tolerance, buy TSM/TBM accordingly, live more frugally, done.

What tax forms to store "7 years"

Hello, I am looking to scan my old tax forms , as I will be moving, and don't want to haul them, around, I use a 1040 and a few schedules, I don't itemize ever, what supporting documents must I keep ? I believe VG keep many of the records for a period of time. I've never been audited, etc , thanks

the traditional vs. roth, is really not worth concern, there are larger concerns to focus on.

why not just stick with traditional, and over the next 5-10 years, slowly start reading the books. do your best on your frugality :)
