Hey All,
Need some advice. Looking to travel to Rome and Venice next spring. It is going to be me, my wife and 2 kids (10, 3). Going to fly into FCO and return from FCO since there is a direct flight from our location. Likely will spend 3 days in Rome, take the train to Venice, spend 3 days in Venice and then return.
I am looking for recommendations as to where to stay in both cities along with itinerary ideas. Ideally looking for some nice hotels in locations that are ideally located for visitors and easily accessible.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cruiser Bicycles
Hey All,
Looking for some low cost cruiser style bicycles to ride around our neighborhood. I checked out some of the local places for refurbished but everything is sold out.
Anyone have any suggestions? I have been looking at Sole and Bikesdirect but don't have any experience with them.
Thanks!

Thank you all for the replies. Seems like both are pretty similar. I think I am leaning towards the Simplicity Brand, only because they seem to be about the same but Simplicity works out to be about $500 cheaper.

Ariens vs. Simplicity (Snowblower and Zero Turn)
Hi All,
Looking to upgrade my zero turn mower and snowblower this year. Our local dealer sells Ariens and Simplicity. Relatively the same price for comparable products. Both made in America. Anyone have any experience or opinions with either brand?
Snowblower would be an Ariens Platinum vs Simplicity Signature
Zero turn is a Ariens Icon XD vs. Simplicity Courier.
Thanks!

Re: TV Streaming Service- YouTube TV alternative
I ended up cancelling YouTube TV and changed to Hulu Plus. ESPN is a must have in our house.
So far negligible difference. We already had the Hulu/ESPN+/Disney bundle so not a big deal. APP is easy to navigate. DVR seems pretty easy to program.

Hey All,
We have been using YouTube TV (which we liked a lot) however they lost all Disney-owned channels, including ESPN.
We stream using Apple TV's. Does anyone have any alternatives they suggest.

Didn't have boots last year (just moved to a new State)
Columbia seems like a good option but they are sold out of my size for now. I'm thinking LL Bean might be a good option.
Prices all seem to be over $130 so I wanted to make an educated purchase.

Mac Mini Upgrade?
Hey Mac fans,
I currently have a Mac Mini 3.2GHz 6-core Core i7 with 16GB of ram. Apple is offering about $530 credit to upgrade to the new Mac Mini M1 chip. Current Mini works perfectly but my worry is if it will be obsolete with the intel chip in 1-2 years and future credits for trade ins might be much less.
Should I stick with my current computer or trade it in?
Thanks!

Hey All,
Headed to Seattle this summer with the family(kids age 7 and 1). Planning on a week but thinking might want to do 4 days in Seattle and 3 days in Portland.
Any recommendations on where to stay?
Planning on the normal tourist stuff...Any suggests for an itinerary would be appreciated.
Thanks!

This is just for fun, local flying. Medical is not an issue, will have a full license. Just want something low cost to have some fun with.

I presume you are interested in LSA because you either have an LSA certificate or don’t yet have a license and don’t think you’d pass a third class medical?

Family Summer Vacation Idea
Hi All,
Looking for some suggestions. We are planning a week for a summer vacation. We have 2 kids, age 7 and 1, and want to try to stay away from the beach and other really hot locations(we live in the South and want to try to escape the heat for a week). We are thinking Seattle and Portland or Colorado but was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions.
Thanks!

Karpems,
It doesn't matter. The point of going to 0 is all tax issues. There is no penalty or big issues since the amount is so little. I would just leave it in there until the next time you convert as it won't matter. Since you have to fully convert next time you do a backdoor Roth you just have to include it next time.

Hey All,
I did a full backdoor roth conversion but after the conversion a dividend of less than $2.00 was distributed to the traditional IRA. What should I do now? It is my understanding the balance needs to be 0 by December 31.

Fidelity Freedom Index Funds Vs. 3 Fund Portfolio
Hey Everyone,
Quick question...
I have been looking at the Fidelity Freedom Index targeted retirement funds and was trying to decide whether to invest in those funds vs a 3 fund portfolio. Expense ratio for the targeted date retirement fund is 0.12%. Can someone tell me the pro/cons of using a single mutual fund vs a 3 fund portfolio?
Thanks!

Hey All,

Re: Buying a fairly new RV, suggestions.
What did you buy? Op, just a few thoughts in regards to a couple of the points you brought up: It's been a record couple of years for RV/Trailer manufacturers, with Forest River leading the pack. They've been slapping them together as fast as they can and it shows even in the high-end units. So yes, complaints about poor quality abound. Warranty work can be a gamble so it pays if you are mechanically inclined and can fix/maintain many of the small things yourself. As others have suggested, I wouldn't use borrowed money for this sort of purchase. After spending upwards of $15K on hotel rooms last year while we increased our recreational travel, I began considering an RV like you are except my budget was a bit less ($50K). I wasn't happy with...
