I started to contribute after the first 14yrs. When I retired after 36yrs the bal was over 1mil. Now I am stuck with high taxes and having to roll it into a roth. My opinion is that it is a good thing at any time.

Some types of accounts don't allow admiral shares. I had a 403b which is similar to 401ks and it was not allowed by the irs rules in the 403b. I had to do a rollover ira to change the share type. It was a Vanguard-managed account from the day i started it.

I bought a set of Panasonic KX-TG7534B DECT 6.0 PLUS for the landline. If i get a call that i don't want to get again, it allows me to use a block feature. Next time it receives a call from that number it rings once then gives the number a busy signal. It has been very effective.
