Re: AT&T Mobile Users: Check your plans

I switch to this ATT plan without spending $1000 extra. 2 lines unlimited talk, unlimited text, and 10GB data for $105 plus tax. There's new plan out tomorrow from ATT. 2 lines unlimited talk, unlimited text, and shared 2GB data for $90. I have never gone above 0.5GB so will try to switch again tom...

Re: AT&T Mobile Users: Check your plans

With the ATT plan you're not forced to buy their overpriced phones like the new TMobile plan. I tried to switch to TMobile but they wouldn't let me. TMo forced me to buy two new Galaxy S4 for $1300 and offered only $300 for my two new Galaxy S4! I said no way I'll simply unlock my S4 to use so we're...

Re: Dental Insurance?

Dental insurance is a waste if you have to buy it for yourself. Come arm with cold cash and bargain the hell out with your dentist...I bet they'll take a lot less than the (MSRP) standard price that's in the computer simply for insurance's purpose. Another option is to fly to California, where there...

The Chase Ink and Bold card are good deal for 60,000 points each. Can one apply for both and get 120,000 points total?

Re: Home alarm security systems

I have ADT and I own my hardware. I had it installed when I built the house. I *think* the hardware was free with a year or two commitment. That has long since been satisfied. I pay a monthly monitoring fee of $42.51. I guess that includes tax. Not cheap, but don't know if it can be called a ripoff...

Re: Costco holdout considering membership

What if they insist you sign up for membership or they charge you 10% premium for no membership? I think it happened to me many years ago so I never shop there anymore. I have membership at BJ's now only because their reps come around annually to sign my biz for three membership cards only $40. I no...

Re: Credit card bonuses going down?

I and most other biz travelers always carry on - max allowable 22" rollerboard + computer case - because so often a connecting flight gets cancelled or delayed and then you are at a huge disadvantage if the airline has control of your baggage. If you have your luggage with you it's much easier...

Re: Orthodontist Problem--Moving..Broken Retainer

Any orthodontist or dentist should be able to take impression and order a new one for you. Just call and said you're new in town and lost it during the move.

Re: Mortgage Refinance Question

Anyone doing anything with underwater mortgages? I have $110k (4.875%) mortgage on a $80k house. Bought December 31 2009 so I don't qualify for HARP 2.0. I guess HARP 3.0 is in the works, have to keep my eye on that. I owed $245K on investment property worth only $215K at 6.5% 30yrs fixed :? Just r...
