I am in the 25% tax bracket. You are right about the timing on the Roth and yes I am aware of that. In fact I am planning to open Roth for her now and contribute 5K (2012 max) from savings and over next two month . I have to cut some inflow to 401K if I want to contribute to Roth after that.
