Thanks Grt2boutdoors for the prompt response! I think I changed my allocation to the USAA 2040 per USAA'S recommendation because of my retirement age which should be in the year 2039. I'll look into the Vanguards funds you recommended thanks so much this is exactly what I needed :)

We have an extra $40K that is sitting in savings and earning almost zero. We really don't need the money right now and our desirable investment horizon would be 10 years. Thank you damjam and Jim180 for the reply! The Managed funds did not make much sense to me when I read about them. Just out of curiosity if our horizon for investing was 10 years instead of 5 what type of allocation/Vanguard funds would you suggest? Thanks!
