Nondeductible IRA

I have a profit sharing/401k plan fully funded every year with approx 900k. I also have a traditional IRA with approx 60k which has a basis of approx 30k from the past few years of nondeductible contributions. Is it worth it to continue with these nondeductible contributions each year? I am 52 y o.

Bond returns

With all I am trying to learn about 3-fund portfolios, and with everyone on CNBC and elsewhere talking about the "ending" bull market in bonds, is it truly wise to place such a high percentage of a portfolio in these bond funds?

I totally agree that my cash holding is my major problem because I did not want to lose another 40 or 60% if the market did another huge crash like we all have experienced over the past 10-12 years. I also know I am completely NOT diversified - no bonds, no international. Just domestic big cap stock...

Thank you all for your replys so far. 1. My largest stock holding is GE (approx 80k). About 20 other stocks all significantly smaller dollar values. (almost all individual stocks are held, very little in mutual funds). Most of my holdings are large cap stocks, but I do have maybe 50k in energy/gold ...
